Happy 4th of July

Howdy pardners,
Well this is going to be an exciting week, we have 2 of my favorite holidays, the 4th of July and my birthday.. er. Anyways this was a pretty good week. We are starting to have a little more success than before, and I'm pretty well adjusted to the mission action now. As of now all of the Elders are required to wear hats now (ridiculous) and all the hermanas have to wear pants. And sunglasses are optional, I think. Pretty much the only difference is that now we look like a bunch of J-Dubbs and my head is always sweaty. Other then that not much is new.
The other day we spreading the good word and this guy came up to us... I'm pretty sure he was drunk.. and asked us a bunch of stuff about the church and for directions and all that. I didn't really think much of it, but 5 days later he showed up to Church, nice. On the 30th the new president and his wife and 4 kids arrived, we have a meeting with them on Wednesday. I don't really know what's going to happen but they are probably going to change everything, but that's good, I'm always up for a change. If you don't change anything you'll always have the same results, and as consequence of that our zone meeting has been changed to 15th, which means the possibility of receiving packages will not happen until then, que triste.
I've also discovered another delicacy in Mexican cuisine. Oh ya, it's like a roll with some sugar and cream or something on top, I had like 6 this week, it's pretty good. Other then that not much is new, right now it's super hot here one day it rains a ton and then the next day it's super hot and humid, but it's all good.
Anyway, President Gordon B. Hinkley once said "first get on your knees and pray, and then get on your feet and work" er something like that I don't remember very good. This is true, we should always consult with the Lord in all that we do, and if we want him to answer us we have to put in our part. A lot of investigators here say they cant receive an answer to their prayers, and then we ask them if they've read the Book of Mormon and they say no, and then we tell them that oft times the answer is in the book, the same thing is true with repentance, God is always willing to forgive us, the price has already been paid, but we have to do our part, we have to repent and do all we can to obey his commandments. And in life in general, if we never do anything it's impossible for the Lord to help us. Welp have a great week!
Love
Elder Webb
